In March 2026, following the issuance of a decision by the Minister of Infrastructure authorising exploration in Polish maritime areas, permitting readiness was achieved to commence seabed geophysical surveys (3D surveys) at the Bałtyk I site. The authorisation is a prerequisite for the project's pre-construction site investigations supporting the 1,560 MW Bałtyk I offshore wind farm.
