On 17 December 2025, the Bałtyk 1 offshore wind farm, jointly developed by Polenergia and Equinor, secured a 25‑year contract for difference in Poland’s first offshore wind auction, winning support for up to 1,560 MW at a strike price of PLN 492.32/MWh (indexed within NBP inflation limits) with commercial operations scheduled for 2032.
