UL Solutions performed technical due diligence and provided technical and commercial analysis to support Masdar’s acquisition and subsequent financing of a 49% interest in the 476 MW Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm in Germany. The scope included review of consents and environment, project design, construction schedule, construction and operational contracts, operational strategy, asset lifetime assessment, energy yield, and economic model review. UL Solutions also served as technical adviser to Masdar’s lenders for the debt financing of Masdar’s share of the project.
