Description
Heerema Marine Contractors was awarded a contract by Baltic Eagle GmbH to transport and install the Baltic Eagle offshore substation (OSS) in the Baltic Sea. Heerema’s scope included transport and installation of the OSS substructure and eight foundation piles, followed by transport and installation of the five-deck topside, using SSCV Thialf in two phases completed in 2022 and 2023.
