Iberdrola and Masdar closed their strategic co-investment agreement for the 476 MW Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea, following receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals. Under the transaction, Baltic Eagle is valued at around €1.6 billion for 100% of the project, Iberdrola retains a 51% majority stake, and Masdar acquires a 49% stake, with Iberdrola continuing to control and manage the asset and provide operations and maintenance and corporate services.
