Ayre targets offshore substation commissioning around 2031, before Phase I operational status in the same year and full commercial operation in 2033. As a radial-connected 1,008 MW floating wind farm connecting via HVAC export to landfall at Sinclair's Bay and a new onshore substation linking to the planned SSEN Banniskirk Hub near Spittal, the offshore substation platform (within Ramboll's Pre-FEED foundation scope and COWI's integrated electrical/civil design scope) must be commissioned and energised before turbines can export power onshore via the export cable circuits. Year precision reflects phase-level scheduling in current developer communications.
