In January 2022, Crown Estate Scotland awarded Thistle Wind Partners (a consortium of DEME Concessions, Qair and Aspiravi) two ScotWind leasing sites, and Thistle Wind Partners was specifically formed to deliver the Ayre Offshore Wind Farm in the NE2 plan option area and the Bowdun Offshore Wind Farm in the E3 area.
