Description
GEO (Denmark, geo.dk) was engaged by RWE to deliver Awel y Môr's second offshore geotechnical site investigation campaign, scheduled for 12 May to 15 June 2026 within the proposed wind farm array area. Scope comprises Cone Penetration Tests (CPT), Seismic Cone Penetration Tests (SCPT) and vibrocoring conducted from the Multi Purpose Offshore Vessel Connector (DK flag, 90.2 m LOA), under Marine Licence RML 2576. The campaign supports detailed offshore design ahead of Awel y Môr's Final Investment Decision and is distinct from Fugro's November 2023 to May 2024 borehole campaign.
