According to the project’s Spring 2025 newsletter, offshore construction for the Awel y Môr Offshore Wind Farm, located west of the existing Gwynt y Môr project and exporting power ashore between Rhyl and Prestatyn, is scheduled to begin as early as 2029 following offshore site investigations planned for 2026.
