Description
Nexans Deutschland’s Hanover plant was contracted to supply 76 km of 33 kV submarine inter-array cables for the Arkona offshore wind farm’s internal electrical network. The scope included 48 km of three-phase 300 mm² cables and 28 km of 800 mm² cables, as well as the fittings and accessories required for installation. The cables were intended to connect the 60 wind turbines to each other and to the transformer platform, with delivery scheduled for early 2018.
