On 3 October 2019, Equinor agreed to sell a 25% ownership interest in the Arkona offshore wind farm to funds advised by Credit Suisse Energy Infrastructure Partners AG for approximately EUR 500 million, reducing Equinor’s stake from 50% to 25%, while RWE Renewables remained operator with a 50% interest.
