In April 2016, E.ON and Norwegian energy company Statoil (now Equinor) established a 50:50 joint venture, OWP Arkona, to develop and own the 385MW Arkona Becken Südost offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea, with E.ON leading construction and operations.
