On 25 April 2016, VBMS was awarded a contract by E.ON for the Arkona offshore wind farm to engineer the route and install 65 inter‑array cables, including surveying, pre‑lay grapnel runs, trenching, termination and testing, with survey activities starting in 2016 and offshore cabling works scheduled to commence in 2018.
