Description
Parkwind signed a contract with Steelwind for fabrication of the Arcadis Ost 1 next-generation XXL monopile foundations. Steelwind was contracted to deliver 28 monopiles in total: 27 monopiles for the wind turbine generators and 1 monopile to support the offshore substation for the Arcadis Ost 1 offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea. Production was planned to start in 2021 at Steelwind’s facility in Nordenham, Germany.
