Description
Parkwind Ost GmbH contracted Heerema Marine Contractors for the loadout, transport and installation of the wind turbine generators at Arcadis Ost 1. Heerema transported the pre-assembled Vestas-supplied WTGs from the pre-assembly site at the port of Rønne (Bornholm) to the offshore site and installed 27 V174-9.5 MW turbines using Heerema’s SSCV Thialf, applying the floating Rotor Nacelle Assembly (RNA) installation method. The installation campaign was completed in two phases, with completion in March 2023 and November 2023.
