Offshore construction at the Arcadis Ost 1 offshore wind farm effectively started in early June 2022 when DEME Offshore’s vessel Orion installed the first of 28 XXL monopile foundations, marking the beginning of major offshore works at the German Baltic Sea site. Parkwind subsequently confirmed that offshore construction at the project site kicked off in June 2022 with installation of the foundations and the offshore substation.
