Export cable installation for Arcadis Ost 1 began in September 2021 when 50Hertz positioned and wet-stored an approximately 100‑metre‑long 220 kV submarine cable on the Baltic Sea seabed in front of the offshore substation, establishing the subsea connection route to the wind farm as part of the Ostwind 2 grid link.
