Description
VBMS (a subsidiary of Boskalis) was awarded EnBW Albatros GmbH’s inter-array cabling contract for the 112 MW Albatros offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. The scope comprised the supply, installation and burial of nineteen 33 kV inter-array cables, including termination and testing, and included works to interconnect the neighbouring Hohe See and Albatros wind farms. Installation activities were scheduled to follow the Hohe See inter-array cable installation campaign and were executed alongside the Hohe See works using the same installation spread.
