Enbridge exercised its option to partner with German utility EnBW on the Albatros offshore wind farm and the adjacent Hohe See project, investing approximately CAD 395 million. As a result, Enbridge acquired a roughly 49.9% equity interest in both projects, forming a co-development and construction partnership with EnBW, which retained the majority stake and responsibility for long-term operations and maintenance.
