On 13 March 2022, Italy's Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) notified the Emilia-Romagna Region that the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) application for the Hub Energetico Agnes Romagna 1 e 2 project was procedible under Article 23 of Legislative Decree 152/2006, formally confirming acceptance of the application and allowing the national EIA review process to proceed.
