In February 2021, project partners Saipem, AGNES and Qint’X for the AGNES Romagna offshore energy hub off Ravenna stated that, following concession applications and grid connection authorisation, they expected to begin front-end engineering work (a FEED-type phase) for the Romagna 1 and Romagna 2 wind farms later in 2021, after starting a measurement campaign at the sites, with environmental impact assessment work to follow in 2022.
