In early 2021, project partners Saipem, AGNES and Qint’x indicated that, subject to securing the necessary authorisations for the Agnes Romagna offshore energy hub off Ravenna, they planned to take final investment decision (FID) and begin construction in 2023. This outlined the initial target timing for committing full project financing and moving into the build phase, contingent on regulatory approvals.
