On 30 January 2023, as part of the definitive project and Environmental Impact Assessment for the Hub Energetico Agnes Romagna 1&2, WSP Italia prepared a technical report for AGNES assessing the impacts of electromagnetic field emissions from the project’s planned 66 kV and 220 kV submarine cables on marine fauna in the offshore area off the Emilia-Romagna coast, identifying related environmental constraints and mitigation needs.
