Description
Boskalis executed the Balance of Plant / EPCI scope for Aberdeen Bay (European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre) for client Vattenfall. Boskalis was responsible for design management and offshore installation of the project’s 11 suction-bucket jacket foundations (including a suction-bucket trial campaign), scour protection, installation of the 66 kV inter-array and export cables, and installation of the wind turbine generators. Boskalis Hirdes performed UXO identification survey and removal (using the Smit Kamara vessel).
