Pandion Energy is an independent, full‑cycle oil and gas company focused exclusively on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). Established in November 2016 through a management buyout of Tullow Oil Norge AS’s operational platform and six licences, it is backed by private equity fund manager Kerogen Capital and headquartered in Oslo. The company operates as an active, responsible non‑operating partner across the discovery, appraisal, development and production phases, targeting upside in and around proven fields with access to existing infrastructure in mature areas such as the greater Valhall and Gjøa areas of the North Sea and the Haltenbanken area of the Norwegian Sea. Pandion participates in growth through mergers and acquisitions, farm‑ins and APA licensing rounds, and has built a focused portfolio of production, discoveries and near‑infrastructure exploration opportunities including interests in the producing Nova field and discoveries such as Ofelia, Sierra Solberg, Slagugle, Kyrre and Mistral. Over its first years of operation the company has achieved a high exploration success rate, reporting six discoveries from seven drilling campaigns at one stage and later seven discoveries out of ten wells, and has delivered daily production in the range of around 5,000–8,300 boepd, with revenues above USD 200 million in 2022–2024.
