ONE-Dyas B.V. is an oil and gas exploration and production company and the largest privately owned E&P operating company in the Netherlands. Headquartered in Amsterdam, it forms part of the SHV group, which has held a 49% stake since the 2019 merger of Oranje-Nassau Energie and Dyas. The company focuses on upstream activities in the North Sea, managing a balanced portfolio of operated and non-operated assets across the British, Dutch and German sectors, with additional group entities in the UK, Denmark and Gabon. ONE-Dyas reports around 200 million boe of reserves and resources and an average production base of about 15,000 boe per day in 2024, having previously produced around 35,000 boe per day to at least the end of 2020. The organisation is relatively compact, with 113 employees active in three countries, and pursues growth primarily through acquisitions and development of North Sea assets supported by strong subsurface, operational and commercial capabilities.
The company positions natural gas as a continuing part of the energy transition and prioritises lowering the emissions intensity of its portfolio. It aims for near-zero emissions in newly built operated assets, exemplified by the M07-A and N05-A platforms, which operate largely on renewable electricity. The flagship GEMS (N05-A) gas development, straddling Dutch and German waters and connected to the Riffgat offshore wind farm via subsea cable, is being developed with partners including EBN, Mammoet, Heerema and Tenaz Energy. ONE-Dyas is expanding into carbon capture and storage through the Kompas project in the depleted Q16-FA field and CCS cooperation agreements with EBN, while also exploring underground CO₂ storage in other North Sea fields. The group collaborates on digital asset management and autonomous operations and has entered an MoU with Symphony Wave Power to test wave energy integration into offshore power systems.
