M.J. Eriksson A/S is a Danish civil engineering and construction contractor founded in 1945 and headquartered in Ishøj. The family‑run company is described as Denmark’s largest earthworks and construction contractor and one of the country’s largest construction companies. It operates across Denmark and southern Sweden through specialised departments covering construction facilities, rail, construction, foundations, groundwater lowering, cranes and tunnelling, supported by regional offices and a Swedish subsidiary, M.J. Eriksson Entreprenad. The company employs more than 700 people with specialised competencies and maintains what it characterises as Denmark’s largest and most modern machinery fleet, comprising more than 450 construction machines on tracks or rubber wheels, mobile cranes, railway machinery and other specialised equipment, including a long‑standing fleet relationship with Liebherr and other OEMs.

Eriksson delivers turnkey, main and specialist contracts in the B2B segment, with core activities in earthworks, road and rail construction, site development, foundations, groundwater management, harbour and marine works, coastal and climate protection, urban spaces, utilities and concrete structures. Its construction and foundations divisions execute bridges, wildlife crossings, structural shells, wind turbine foundations, excavation pits, sheet piling and marine piling, as well as excavation, piling and groundwater control for large building projects. Recent reference projects include motorway widening on the E45 and other motorways in Funen and Jutland, modernisation of the Nykøbing F–Rødby railway line, construction works for new DSB railway maintenance facilities, nationwide district heating schemes, pharmaceutical production facility expansions and major defence infrastructure at Skrydstrup Air Base. In fiscal 2023/24 the company generated revenue of DKK 2.9 billion and a pre‑tax profit of DKK 260.3 million, supported by an optimised project portfolio, improved gross margin and a robust pipeline for 2024/25.
