The company focuses on the route preparation and early execution phases of offshore cable projects, particularly Pre‑Lay Grapnel Runs (PLGR) and route clearance operations. Drawing on management experience in both maritime operations and submarine cable projects, it supplies experienced offshore personnel such as project management teams, pull‑in teams and cable installation specialists, and provides support that extends from pre‑construction development through construction and into operations and maintenance. The company has delivered work in a wide range of markets including the UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bangladesh, Mexico, Canada and Azerbaijan. Its capability set spans fishing studies and liaison, project and programme management, quality assurance, document control, quantity surveying and financial management, health and safety services, and asset management and inventory control. C&S Offshore Services also offers offshore labour services, access and support vessels, marine coordination and shipping services, vessel and vessel‑equipment provision, and offshore logistics including accommodation and base support. In the operations phase it undertakes export and array cable surveys and repairs, marine operations, scour and structural surveys and repairs, and has the capability to support offshore substation maintenance. In addition to personnel and project services, C&S Offshore Services arranges fishing liaison officers, cable guard vessels, crew transfer vessels and supply vessels. It provides cable route preparation activities, cable pull‑in teams, offshore cable termination and testing teams, and offshore cable fault‑finding services. Its project record includes PLGR and route‑clearance management on the COBRAcable interconnector between the Netherlands and Denmark, including recovery and compliant onshore disposal of out‑of‑service cables, and PLGR and boulder‑clearance management for the Walney Extension offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea.
