FULGOR Single-Member S.A. Hellenic Cable Industry is a Greek cable manufacturer specialising in high‑value submarine and land power transmission solutions and forms part of the Hellenic Cables Group, the cables segment of Cenergy Holdings. Established in 1957 and integrated into Hellenic Cables in 2011, the company relocated its facilities to a 220,000m² seaside site at Soussaki, Corinth, which includes a private dock for direct loading of submarine cables onto laying and freight vessels. Operating under the CABLEL trademark within the group, FULGOR manufactures submarine cables ranging from medium to extra‑high voltage, submarine fibre‑optic and composite power/optical‑fibre cables, special‑purpose cables, and copper and aluminium wires and rods, supplied to international standards such as VDE, BS, UL, NEMA, JIS, ASTM, DIN and ELOT. Its management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS/ISO 18001.
Since 1972, FULGOR has produced more than 980km of submarine power cables up to 33kV and, since 1992, over 2,200km of optical‑fibre submarine cables, installing around 1,000km of these on a turnkey basis. Between 2012 and 2015, investments exceeding EUR 65 million created an ultra‑modern production line for high and extra‑high‑voltage AC and DC XLPE‑insulated submarine cables up to 500kV, making FULGOR one of a small number of global producers in this segment. The company undertakes turnkey interconnection projects for utilities, offshore wind and oil and gas, covering route surveys, system design, manufacture, marine installation with specialised vessels, burial and protection, land‑cable sections, terminations, testing, commissioning and maintenance support. It has delivered major projects including Aegean island interconnections and offshore wind farm links, and continues to expand into HVAC and HVDC submarine cables and umbilicals for international subsea infrastructure and offshore energy developments.
