Norconsult ASA is a pan-Nordic interdisciplinary consulting firm that combines engineering, architecture and digital expertise for public and private clients. Headquartered in Sandvika, Norway, it operates through knowledge hubs and a dense local office network of around 7,200 employees across nearly 140 offices in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Poland and Finland, with additional operations in regions such as Africa and Asia-Pacific. In the energy value chain, Norconsult has for decades contributed to the development of the Norwegian power system and has large teams dedicated to renewable energy. It advises on construction engineering, execution and land acquisition for renewable projects, and works on hydropower and pumped storage schemes, green ammonia concepts and carbon capture and storage export terminals, serving clients such as Drax and Norsk Hydro. The company also supports oil and gas developments where complex multidisciplinary project execution is required, and, through a strategic partnership with Moffatt & Nichol, targets offshore wind port development in the Nordics. Internally, Norconsult is organised with specialist subsidiaries including Norconsult Digital, which delivers software and IT services to real estate and infrastructure sectors, Nordic Office of Architecture, Technogarden, Kjeller Vindteknikk and the acquired Aas-Jakobsen Group and Metier. In 2025 Norconsult reported NOK 10.1 billion in net operating revenue and maintained an adjusted EBITA margin of 9.5 percent, supported by a diversified order backlog dominated by public-sector demand.
