DELAYED +9mo (May 2026): Decision deadline slipped past Q1 2026. The 19 March 2026 Doordewind Participatieplan (TenneT, v1.1) confirms the grid project proceeds with exactly 4 GW (Alpha ~2 GW + Beta ~2 GW = renames of Doordewind 1/2) with no TNW I rollup, so the merger investigation initiated in the Sept 2025 Actieplan had not been formalised by mid-March 2026. Realistic decision window now H2 2026, year precision until a ministerial Kamerbrief settles the question. --- The Dutch Minister of Climate Policy and Green Growth is scheduled to decide in early 2026 whether the proposed merger of the Ten noorden van de Waddeneilanden I site into the Doordewind Wind Farm Zone will go ahead, which would determine the final spatial configuration for the project within the wider offshore wind area.
