Turbine installation at the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm started in April 2022, when EDF Renewables, Enbridge/CPP Investments and GE Renewable Energy erected France’s first offshore wind turbine 12 km off the Guérande peninsula using Jan De Nul’s jack-up vessel Vole au Vent as the first of 80 GE Haliade 150-6 MW units to be installed by the end of summer 2022.
