In June 2019, the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm obtained its final administrative authorisation to construct and operate, following a ruling by the Conseil d’État that confirmed all permits required for the project. This decision removed the remaining legal obstacles and provided full planning consent for the 480 MW wind farm developed by Éolien Maritime France (EDF Renewables, Enbridge, CPP Investments).
