Overall construction for the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm progressed onshore from autumn 2019, when RTE started the first terrestrial civil works for the 225 kV underground connection between the landfall at La Courance beach and the Prinquiau substation, as part of a roughly two‑year works phase. Power-Technology also reports that project construction started in September 2019, aligning with the start of these onshore activities.
