Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy received a firm order from Ailes Marines (Iberdrola affiliate) to supply and build the 496 MW Bay of Saint-Brieuc offshore wind power plant’s turbines. The scope covered the manufacture and supply of 62 SG 8.0-167 DD offshore wind turbines (8 MW class), with key components such as nacelles and blades to be produced in France at Siemens Gamesa’s planned Le Havre offshore wind turbine factory. The order also included a 10-year turbine maintenance (O&M) agreement for the wind farm.
