Iberdrola reached Final Investment Decision (FID) on the 496 MW Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm around 29 May 2020, enabling Siemens Gamesa to secure the turbine order and allowing construction to proceed. The project involves a total investment of about €2.4 billion, financed entirely by Iberdrola, to build 62 offshore turbines and associated infrastructure in the Bay of Saint-Brieuc.
