Description
IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN) carried out advanced coupled mechanical engineering studies to adapt and qualify the tension-leg platform (TLP) floater and anchoring technology for the Provence Grand Large pilot floating offshore wind farm. The floater and anchoring concept was developed in cooperation with SBM Offshore for EDF Renouvelables’ project, supporting the engineering basis for the three floating wind units installed offshore of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône.
