Parc Eolien Offshore de Provence Grand Large (PEOPGL) awarded Prysmian Group a turnkey contract in April 2019 to design, manufacture, install and commission the dynamic inter-array and export cable system connecting the Provence Grand Large floating turbines to the RTE-operated onshore grid. The scope includes 4.2 km of dynamic cable, around 20 km of static submarine cable and 0.2 km of flying leads, linking the wind farm 17 km offshore to Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône via a 19 km subsea and 9 km underground route.
