Smulders

Smulders was identified in project references as a foundation fabricator for the Prinses Amaliawindpark offshore wind farm (Princess Amalia / Q7 Wind Farm) in the Netherlands. The sources link Smulders to the manufacture and supply of steel monopile foundations and transition pieces for the wind farm’s fixed-bottom support structures. For the turbine foundations, the project used monopile foundations with transition pieces to support 60 Vestas V80-2.0 MW wind turbines. Smulders is referenced as providing monopile foundations and transition pieces for the wind farm, and is also specifically cited in relation to the offshore substation’s monopile foundation (with the offshore substation installed on a monopile foundation and the monopile attributed to Smulders). This role is recorded as a construction-phase foundation manufacturing/supply engagement. The scope comprises fabrication and delivery of primary steel (monopile primary structures) and transition pieces for the turbine foundations, as well as the primary steel monopile foundation for the offshore substation.
