Bladt Industries (now part of CS WIND Offshore) carried out the design and fabrication of the offshore high-voltage substation topside for the 120 MW Prinses Amaliawindpark (Q7) under an EPC contract with Van Oord, the project's principal EPC contractor for Eneco. The substation topside weighed 1,272 tonnes and was delivered in 2007, sitting on a single monopile foundation supplied by Smulders. The Bladt scope covered the structural design and fabrication of the topside, with electrical EPCI for the substation provided by Semco Maritime (CS WIND / Bladt Industries was identified by Semco as its customer for the electrical scope, with Eneco as end customer). The topside aggregates output from 60 V80-2.0 MW turbines via 22 kV inter-array cables and steps up to 150 kV for the ~28 km subsea export cable to the onshore substation at Wijk aan Zee. The Q7 substation is one of the earliest dedicated offshore high-voltage substations delivered by a Danish topside fabricator and predates the larger HVAC and HVDC platforms Bladt later supplied to UK and German offshore wind farms. CS WIND Offshore now maintains the reference page for this delivery as part of its substation portfolio.
