As part of an R&D initiative at Eneco’s Princess Amalia offshore wind farm, Heerema Marine Contractors and CAPE Holland completed the installation of a Delft Offshore Turbine (DOT) monopile using a Vibro Lifting Tool, driving the coated monopile into the seabed in dynamic positioning mode without a motion compensation frame.
