By 2024, the Pennavel floating offshore wind farm secured a grid connection with French transmission system operator RTE, which will provide and own the transmission assets including the offshore substation and export cables linking the project to the onshore grid. This committed grid connection forms part of the framework for the AO5 South Brittany tender under which the BayWa r.e. and Elicio consortium was selected to develop Pennavel.
