Geofizyka Toruń is the Polish geoscience contractor selected by ORLEN Neptun to deliver the 2D seismic survey campaign across the planned Baltic West offshore wind farm, which comprises four concessions on the Odra Bank (Ławica Odrzańska) including Area 14.E.3 corresponding to the Orlen Neptun III project. ORLEN announced the engagement on 30 April 2026, presenting it as the first geophysical site investigation campaign for the cluster. The scope of work covers the acquisition of approximately 3,000 kilometres of 2D seismic lines intended to investigate the geological structure of the sub-seabed to a depth of 100 metres. ORLEN indicated that the surveys will take several months. The resulting seismic dataset will underpin foundation engineering, cable-route engineering and permitting work for Orlen Neptun III and the other Baltic West lots ahead of formal design freeze and Poland's offshore wind support-scheme participation. The role is recorded against Orlen Neptun III on the basis that 14.E.3 is one of the four Baltic West licences explicitly covered by the campaign; no separate single-site seismic contract has been disclosed.
