Geotech Survey Start

ORLEN Neptun signalled plans to start geotechnical investigations for the Baltic West offshore wind project, which covers four concessions on the Ławica Odrzańska including Area 14.E.3 (Orlen Neptun III). In a January 2026 update, the company said that in the coming months it "plans to commence a series of location studies," explicitly including "studies aimed at identifying the geotechnical conditions of the water bodies." These planned works will examine soil and seabed conditions across the Odra Bank sites to support foundation type selection, detailed design and permitting. As of the article date the surveys had not yet started, so this represents a scheduled, not yet completed, start of the geotechnical campaign for Orlen Neptun III and the wider Baltic West cluster.
