Lamprell cut the first steel for Norfolk Vanguard West transition pieces at its UAE yard in December 2025, with fabrication now underway on the serial production line. Per Lamprell's own Q1 2026 newsletter, the first load-out of completed TPs is expected in H2 2026. The contract — awarded by RWE in September 2024 — covers manufacture and supply of 92 transition pieces for Norfolk Vanguard West (paired with 92 more for Norfolk Vanguard East, total 184 TPs). This is a first-major-component manufacturing milestone for the project ahead of FID, which RWE has targeted for summer 2026.
