For the Nederwiek (zuid) kavel I-B offshore wind project, an earlier preparatory decision (voorbereidingsbesluit) entered into force on 2 May 2024. RVO notes that this decision was formally notified in the Dutch Government Gazette (Staatscourant). This 2024 preparatory decision formed part of a sequence of such measures for the site and was subsequently renewed by a later voorbereidingsbesluit that entered into force on 24 April 2025, and again by a further preparatory decision taking effect on 3 April 2026. Together, these successive preparatory decisions maintain planning protections for the Nederwiek I-B area while the kavelbesluit for the approximately 1 GW wind farm is being prepared.
