RVO/Bureau Energieprojecten records that an earlier ‘voorbereidingsbesluit’ (preparatory decision) for the Nederwiek (zuid) kavel I-B offshore wind project entered into force on 22 June 2023, with notification published in the Staatscourant. This 2023 preparatory decision was the first of a series and has subsequently been renewed by later preparatory decisions that entered into force on 2 May 2024, 24 April 2025 and 3 April 2026, ensuring the decision remains continuously in effect. Under such a preparatory decision, competent authorities must take the planned offshore wind development into account when assessing other permit applications in the area, preventing activities that could hinder or preclude the construction of the Nederwiek (zuid) kavel I-B wind farm until the kavelbesluit is adopted.
