In a letter submitted to the Dutch Parliament in April 2025, the government identified IJmuiden Ver Gamma-B, configured as a 1 GW lot, as one of the next offshore wind farms to be tendered in the Netherlands, with a planned commercial operation date in the second quarter of 2031. This positioned IJmuiden Ver Gamma-B alongside IJmuiden Ver Gamma-A and several Nederwiek sites within the national 21 GW offshore wind roadmap.
