According to plans outlined by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the IJmuiden Ver Gamma-A offshore wind farm, tendered together with the 1 GW Gamma-B site and connected via TenneT’s IJmuiden Ver Gamma platform, is likely to start generating electricity from around 2032. This projected start of power production would follow the December 2026 tender closure and the expected granting of subsidy decisions and permits in the first quarter of 2027.
