Jan De Nul Group is contracted to install Hornsea 3's complete subsea cable link between the wind farm and the UK mainland during the 2026 offshore campaign. Two of Jan De Nul's cable-laying vessels — Isaac Newton and Connector — are deployed on the installation works. Jan De Nul's 2025 Impact Report states that 350 km of subsea cables are within scope at Hornsea 3, covering the export route between the 2.85 GW wind farm (approximately 120 km offshore of north Norfolk) and the landfall area at Weybourne, with the onshore grid connection at Norwich Main. The first section of cable was connected to the UK mainland at the beginning of 2026, marking the project's first landfall milestone in a 2026 installation campaign.
